What are the requirements to become an escort?

With us, only three things are fixed, namely a minimum age of 21, a valid ID for verification and your own free decision. Everything else you either already have without realising it, or it grows with your first evenings, and the overview below shows what counts and when.

None of this has to be sorted out before you apply. You send us your name or stage name, your age, the city where you would like to work and how we can reach you, and you can add photos if you like, though you do not have to. How old do you have to be to become an escort?

With us you need to be at least 21, and that applies in every country and without exception. In many countries the legal minimum is 18, but we deliberately only accept women from 21. If you are younger, do get in touch once you have turned 21, because we will genuinely look forward to hearing from you.

The application form already asks for your age, and before we work together we check it against your ID. Anyone who cannot prove it does not start with us, however grown up she seems, and in the end that protects every woman who works with us.

What do you need to look like to be an escort?

You do not need to match any beauty ideal to become an escort, because guests at the high end book a woman they feel comfortable with, not a dress size. We do not ask for a particular height, figure or hair colour, and presence has far more to do with an open look and inner calm than with measurements.

Well groomed, not perfect

What counts is a well-kept appearance, meaning hair, hands and clothes that show you have prepared for the evening. Part of it is feeling at home in your own skin, because the person across the table notices that sooner than any detail, and it grows with every evening on which you realise how much people enjoy listening to you.

A wardrobe for three occasions

You do not need an expensive wardrobe to begin. A dress for dinner, something more elegant for the opera or a reception, and shoes you still enjoy walking in after midnight will carry you through most evenings, and you always know beforehand where a date is going.

Tattoos, piercings and your photos

Tattoos and piercings are not a reason to turn anyone down. Your face is never shown publicly; on your profile it is always made unrecognisable, and we do not show a striking tattoo or any other feature that could identify you either. Your pictures come from a free photo shoot, you may use them yourself as well, and how you come across on camera is something we find out together, in a relaxed way.

Which qualities matter more than looks?

Reliability, discretion, a feel for people, enjoying conversation and being able to say no kindly and clearly matter more than looks. On the phone I pay less attention to how you describe yourself than to whether you know your own reasons and can say what you want and what you do not.

Reliability

You are reliable when a guest and your personal contact can count on your word. You arrive a few minutes early, check in at the agreed times and cancel early rather than at the last minute, and over time exactly this kind of reliability turns guests into regulars who keep asking for you.

Discretion

Discretion starts with small things, such as no photo of a hotel breakfast ending up in your story, or not approaching a guest you happen to see in town. It works both ways, because just as you keep his name to yourself, we keep your real name to ourselves.

A feel for people and for conversation

You sense whether the person opposite you wants to arrive first after a long day or would rather start talking straight away, and then you ask the question he is really interested in. You do not need a degree for that, rather curiosity about people, travel, books or good food, and the ease to simply listen now and then.

A clear no

Ideally you know your boundaries before your first evening, and you state them kindly but unmistakably, perhaps with a calm “I would rather not, let’s stay for an espresso instead”. If you only realise during an evening that something does not feel right, your no counts from that moment just the same. You set your boundaries and decide on every request, and you never have to explain whether you accept a date or not.

Your own decision

The most important requirement cannot be seen from the outside. You take this step because you want to, not because a partner, a friend or money worries are pushing you, and you know that you can stop again at any time.

Do you need to speak English, German or other languages?

You do not need to be fluent in several languages. With us German is always enough, and many evenings can also be in English, for example with guests who are in Frankfurt, Zurich or Geneva on business, while every further language helps when you travel. Tell us on the phone which languages you speak, so that your personal contact can keep suitable requests in mind for you.

Perfect grammar is not the point. A guest is far more charmed by a woman who makes an effort and can laugh about the odd wrong word than by flawless sentences, and with every evening the language feels a little more natural.

Which documents do you need, and how do we verify you?

You do not need any documents to apply, and to work together you need a valid passport or ID card. Just as every guest goes through our KYC check, so do you, and for that only we see your ID and your face, once and internally. That is why you cannot apply completely anonymously, but you can get in touch at any time without commitment, and your real details are known only to a small team bound to confidentiality.

You show your ID and keep it, because no agency has any reason to hold on to your passport, and anyone who tries is showing you a warning sign, as our anti-trafficking policy explains. And do not send a copy of your ID to any agency by messenger before you have actually spoken.

What we do not ask for matters just as much. We do not ask you for a certificate of good conduct, neither to apply nor to work with us. Nor do we expect a CV, references, an application video or studio photos.

What do you not need to become an escort?

You do not need experience, because most women with us had never worked as escorts before. Nor do you need a degree, a website of your own or your own advert, because marketing, requests and the check on every guest are our job.

No money upfront

You pay nothing before you earn, so there is no joining, profile or photo fee, and the photo shoot is free. A date starts at a fee of €1,000, paid by the guest, and from it come the agency commission as well as your taxes and costs. How that adds up over a month is shown in How much do escorts earn?

No car and no travel budget

You do not need a car of your own, and you never pay for getting there and back yourself, because every guest covers a travel allowance. If you travel with him, he also pays for flights and the hotel, so you can simply look forward to the days themselves.

No need to be on call

Guests usually book in advance, so you can plan your evenings well. If a short-notice request does come in, we ask whether you are free, and otherwise it is moved to another time. There is no minimum number of dates, many women work two to four evenings a month and some more.

No exclusivity

We do not ask for exclusivity, and if you are already with another agency, you can stay there. Because we work with minimum fees, we talk openly on the phone about how you present yourself elsewhere, so that both fit well together.

When is now not the right moment?

It is better to wait if money worries are weighing on you right now, if someone else is pushing you towards this step or if you are in the middle of a personal crisis, because then it is hard to say no freely. The same goes if you are not feeling well in body or mind at the moment, because these evenings should bring you joy rather than cost you extra strength.

Think, too, about how you would feel if someone did find out one day. Discretion can be organised well, but nobody can guarantee it, and if the thought would be hard to bear, talk it through calmly with an advice centre first. What do we prepare with you, so you do not have to bring everything?

Much of what sounds like a requirement is not something you have to bring on your own, because we prepare it together with you. After you apply, someone from the team gets back to you within 24 hours, and in a confidential phone call we talk about your time, your cities and what you never want to do. Then your pictures are taken at the free photo shoot, you choose a stage name, and your personal contact goes through check-ins and the code word for the evening with you.

Every guest goes through our KYC check beforehand, and a date only takes place once his advance payment has arrived in full, held on an intermediary account as a pass-through item until the date. Your fee then reaches you straight after the date by bank transfer, and we issue the invoice. What should you know about the official side where you work?

As an escort you work self-employed, and depending on the country a few official steps come before your first date. In Germany these are an appointment with the responsible office in your city and a confidential counselling session at the public health office, followed by a tax number and health insurance, while Austria, Switzerland and other countries have their own routes, which sometimes differ from city to city. If you are not an EU citizen, your residence status needs to allow this work, and an independent advice centre such as Hydra in Berlin can help you check that before you agree to anything.
