What is an escort job, and what is it not?

An escort job is companionship between equals: a client books you because he would rather not spend an evening, a night or a few days alone. You sit with him over dinner, go with him to the opera or a reception and travel with him when he goes away, and what he values is conversation, style and the feeling that you are really listening. Adverts may say escort model, companion or escort lady, but they all mean the same work.

It is not a job in the usual sense, because there is no employment contract, no shifts and no manager signing off your holidays. You work for yourself, accept only what fits your calendar and never have to explain whether you accept a date or not. Where your boundaries lie is for you alone to decide. And because we introduce the clients, you never negotiate money yourself, never meet anyone we have not screened and do not have to be on call.

What kinds of booking are there, and what do they pay?

Escort jobs differ mainly in length, and with every hour the trust, the planning and the fee grow. Most women begin with dinner dates and take on longer bookings once they have found their own rhythm, and with every request you decide afresh whether it suits you.

Dinner date

A table booked in a good restaurant, a client who is in town on business or simply does not want to eat alone, and a conversation that finds its own way over a few hours. It is the gentlest way to start, because the setting is familiar, and a dinner date with us pays from €1,000.

Events and culture

A premiere, the opera, a gala or a trade-fair evening he would rather not attend alone, often with dinner before or after. You do not need to be an expert, curiosity is enough, and you know the dress code in advance. An extended evening like this, of six to eight hours, pays around €3,000 to €4,500.

Overnight

An overnight usually begins with dinner, and you stay together until breakfast the next morning. When the date ends is agreed beforehand, and the fee is considerably higher, for example €6,000.

Weekend

Two or three days in another city, by a lake or in a lovely hotel, with long breakfasts and walks and also with hours that are entirely your own. A weekend pays around €6,000 to €15,000, often as much as several evening dates together.

Travel

Some regular clients take you away for five, seven or ten days, to the coast, to a great city or to a business trip they want to combine with something beautiful. Flights, hotel and a travel allowance are always paid by the client, and before you agree, the plan for those days is set down in writing. Five to seven days pay around €12,000 to €20,000, and ten days €30,000 to €40,000.

All of these are the fee the client pays, so gross, and the agency commission comes off it, together with your own tax and costs. How do bookings reach you?

Bookings reach you through us, so you never have to deal with advertising, enquiries or talking about prices. You get a free photo shoot for your profile, you work under a professional name, and your face is never visible in public, because it is always made unrecognisable on your profile. Clients usually book in advance, so you know the day, place, length and fee before you say yes. If a short-notice request does come in, we ask whether you are free, and if you are not, the date is moved. Before a request ever reaches you, the client has been through our KYC check, and the date is only confirmed once his payment has arrived in full. It is held on an intermediary account as a pass-through item until the date, and without it there is no date.

On the evening itself you are never on your own, because your personal contact knows the time and place, you agree check-ins and a code word, and someone from the team is always reachable. Clients who enjoyed your company often book again, and over time these regular clients are where the longer weekends and trips come from. Where in Germany are the escort jobs?

Escort jobs in Germany come up above all where people travel, negotiate and like to dine well, in trade-fair cities, financial centres and cities with a rich cultural life. With us you can start in Germany, Austria or Switzerland, and each city has its own calendar that decides when requests are busiest.

A main job or something on the side: what suits you?

For many women an escort job is something on the side, a few lovely evenings a month alongside studies or a career, and for some it grows into their main work over time. Both are possible because you set your own calendar, and the difference lies mainly in how much time you keep free and how you plan for quieter months.

On the side

Many women with us work two to four evenings a month, often at weekends or on a free weeknight. Two dates at €3,000 each already add up to €6,000 in fees a month, gross and without any guarantee, and the rest of your time is yours.

As your main work

If you keep more time free, you are more likely to accept weekends and trips and to meet regular clients who like to come back. In return the months vary more, so plan around the quiet month rather than the busy one, set something aside from every fee for tax and look after your own health insurance.

You never have to tie yourself to us exclusively. If you are already with another agency or work independently, you can still join us, and because we work with minimum fees, we talk openly on the phone about how you present yourself elsewhere.

Coming from abroad: how does the start work?

You can apply from wherever you live, in English, long before you book a ticket. German or good English is all you need for the work, and many evenings can be in English, especially in Berlin, Frankfurt and the Swiss cities. In the first phone call, tell us when you could be in which city, and your personal contact will suggest weeks that suit that city's calendar, such as a trade fair or the festival season, so that your stay is worthwhile.

A few things make the first weeks much easier. Keep your passport, your phone and your money in your own hands, because no reputable agency needs to hold any of them. Have an address where your post can reach you, an account in the euro area for your fees and a second phone number just for work. And if something about the paperwork is unclear, ask an independent advice centre before you travel, such as Hydra in Berlin, which advises in several languages.

Escort wanted: how do you spot a genuine opening?

A genuine opening explains the process, the fee and the route to a first conversation without asking you for money, and it is perfectly normal for an agency to be looking for women. An advert headed "escort wanted" is not a warning sign in itself; what matters is what it asks of you next. Women from abroad are approached more often with dangerous offers, so these sentences are reasons to end the conversation straight away.

Papers that are not in order can lead to real trouble for you, and anyone who arranges them in return for a debt holds power over you. If someone presses you into this work, keeps your passport or manages your money, that is exploitation, and the German helpline for violence against women, 116 016, is free, open day and night and available in many languages.

How do you apply for an escort job in Germany?

You apply with a short form that takes one minute, in English if you like, and someone from the team gets back to you within 24 hours. You do not need to be in Germany yet. On the phone you get to know us, ask everything that is on your mind, including papers, city and dates, and then decide calmly whether you would like to go on.

Can you work in Germany, and what comes before the first date?

Whether you may work in Germany depends on your citizenship and your residence status. Citizens of EU countries may generally work in any other EU country, including as self-employed, as the EU's Your Europe portal explains. From outside the EU, what applies to you is decided by the immigration office (Ausländerbehörde), and the official portal Make it in Germany gives an overview; a visit is not the same as work, so ask before you buy a ticket. Before your first date you register with the responsible office in your city, and afterwards you look after tax and health insurance yourself. Austria and Switzerland have their own rules.
